Drove from Boise Idaho to Salt Lake for this event (5hrs) and I was lucky to get a picture with Trevor. An estimate of 6000 to 7000 people lined up for this special day, a much larger number than the locals would ever anticipate and we were herded like sheep as fast as they could thru a small lobby entrance being reminded by security that no autographs were to be given. Little disappointed but still counting my blessings. I'd say only 25 to 30 percent of the crowd were wearing Kings jerseys ( of all kinds ) and very surprised how few had the local hero Lewis name on them, I suppose he's no John Stockton or Carl Malone to them I don't know, my first visit in the area. I guess by winning the Stanley Cup again next season ( God willing there's one ) will teach them to get better at it and allocate more than 2 hrs for this kind of deal.
