i think i posted some time before somewhere within the ether of lgk about having slippers (not ballet style) made out of sweater material. they didn't last long because all the wear from walking wore a hole in them. i got them as a gift from my husband because he knows i like that luxurious fashionable stuff, so it wasn't me who made the inpracticle purchase, lol.
i do however have cashmere underwear that i wear in the winter and oh boy are they awesome.

Cashmere sock yarn (technically a blend of cashmere, wool, and nylon but machine washable), $40 a skein....probably 2 skeins needed for slippers.
