This season everyone that sits in the die hards has the die hard pricing, but word is that as of the 2013-2014 season they may do away with it. Which sucks.

I don't know what the die hard pricing is but if you have so many new season ticket holders like myself that are willing to pay double then why have it? and I doubt the Kings will lose season ticket accounts.Other teams might but I doubt the Kings will..

The Die Hards are a section of seats in the Upper 300's on the end where the Kings defend twice. I see your point, but for many of the people that sit there (including myself) it would be nice to slowly increase our fees because of how long we have been there. You're talking about people that have stuck with the team through low times, these are not people that have jumped on the bandwagon. I know of many that would cancel their accounts if they do away with the pricing as many have multiple seats. As a grad student I couldn't afford season tickets otherwise.

Also, the Kings could very well lose out as there is no guarantee they will be as successful as they were last year. If they miss the playoffs I can see a sharp decrease in renewals, especially since so many of the new accounts are to brokers. I see your point, but for those of us that have been here for a while it can be taken as a slap in the face.

I think its a nice thing that the Kings do this.Just out of curiosity how much are the die hard seats ? I was going to pay $30 per seat in 322 row 10 but I moved..I understand they should give a discount to those like you who have supported the team all these years but in the same token if someone is 3 rows ahead of you and paying three times that seems off too..I moved anyway..I'm paying $38 per seat..I am very happy with how the Kings have been with this whole lockout mess..they treat the fans right.I had season tickets years ago at the Forum and I don't remember all the perks which has been nice but then again we never won the Cup lol..

To be honest it ruins it when brokers buy up a bunch of tickets.I have season tickets for the Dodgers and I got a really good deal on my seats and I never have the same people around me.I hope I see some of the same people in my section where I will be at at Staples.

During Select-A-Seat this year, I tried to move to the die hard section and was still going to be charged $30 a game. I had to end up taking two seats that are not next to each other in another area to get the price down to $22.

It's been like that for two years I think. I think that they have suspended the pricing level, but keeping it grandfathered in for existing people
