Thread: Sutter apparently not happy with Mitchell's decision to sit out another game

Sutter also discussed Matt Greene and Willie Mitchell. He said how they’re both “locker room” guys and how their leadership is missed. And now it’s up to the young guys on the back-end.

Sutter is also unhappy that Greene has not yet played since his surgery.

Being a pro I am sure he knows his body and if he is ready.Of the Kings were up 2-0 and Greene didn't get hurt maybe stuff wouldn't have been said

I don't read too much into that.

This isn't an issue.

Unlike Murray, who coddled certain players and let other guys slide, Sutter seems to hold everyone accountable the same. And I don't doubt that anything he says to the media he's already said to the player concerned.

Mitchell has learned the hard way not to come back until he's certain, which is great. I'd like to see more players do that. Thing is though, he may be, may be applying a little bit of head injury standards to a knee injury.

Just glad he's progressing and close to a return.

Too bad that we didn't have Sutter years ago. Allison and Deadmarsh WOULD had been back by Christmas.
