Has this been discussed before? I think it would be cool to see them wear them in an upcoming seasons Throwback Jersey games. These are over 20 years old now, are there any pre-requisites that are taken into consideration when determining what jerseys are ok to wear?
I'm not sure if its true or not, but I seem to recall hearing that McNall sold the rights to the "chevy logo" during his money trouble days. If the Kings don't own the logo, I wouldn't expect them to use it. But this is all based on something I heard 10-15 years ago.
No. I'd rather see the old purple jerseys. Now if those purples became the 3rds, I'd say sure for a game or 2 a season.

They wore them during the pre-skate of the #99 retirement game some years back. Seeing Ziggy wear that jersey was pretty cool.
Can we just use the crown? Please?

As soon as they run out of players to honor that wore the purple and gold, they'll move on to the Chevy era guys and naturally they will use those jerseys. It's just a matter of time.
