Thread: Tiffany & Co to sell "high quality" replica Stanley Cup rings?

Was reading THIS article about how the kings made a few extra rings and which will be given to some charities to be auctioned off. When I saw this.

Supposedly, within the next week or so, Tiffany & Co., one of the world’s premier jewelers, will begin selling a high quality limited edition replica of the same ring for about $1200.

Did the kings announce this and I just missed it? Or is this something new they are doing? And if they are really doing this, It might be something I would be interested in as a "splurge of the season type thing )

I think its comical that women can be such label whores for Tiffany's. Some would rather their man break the bank for a ring from there than the same exact ring at half the price of the same exact quality. GIA certified is GIA certified ladies.

There is nothing wrong with spending more for Tiffany. The quality and craftsmanship are higher and they have top notch jewelry designers. Some of their pieces are works of art and worth every penny. No silver keeps its luster as long or is as durable as Tiffany & Co. silver. Most women can see and feel a difference.

It's like my son telling me which hockey stick he wants. Apparently every ounce a stick is lighter is valuable to him. I don't get it, but he insists this brand, this curve, this lie, this flex, this weight, etc. is worth the extra money. I don't get it, but he knows more about that topic than I do. So I rely on his expertise and trust that he knows the value. I don't have to understand it.
