Let's face it, Florida stinks and Thomas isn't really going to help them much this year. He has a 1 year contract and we have a hurt #1 goalie and a rookie #2 .
Do we make an offer to a struggling team?

He beat that Anaheim team last night.

I'm sure you have a good reason ges. What are your thoughts on it? 1 year deal for a solid netminder who becomes disposable when Quick is at 100%. High yield low commitment. How bad could the ROI be for a team who will probably not make the playoffs with or without him?

No panic, but hamstring or groin, it's going to take some time for a goalie to recover 100% from that. We need a #1 goalie if we want a chance this season.

let's just say, this has been the first inner-leg injury for Quick, so i don't forsee them bringing in outside help, nor do i see any reason to. maybe if this were to become a lingering issue into next season, then i could see them eyeballing a veteran.

Yes, then flip him for Yakupov to send to Manchester to learn defense, so he can cover for Brown after he's traded before Christmas...at Taco Bell.
Did I get 'em all covered?

I was lost until "Taco Bell". Now it all makes sense.
