Kind of weird they are comparing average income of $3,850 monthly of US/CANADIAN to the amount of the League and their owners! I mean the lowest paid player makes $20,833 a month ($250k a year) right? Not exactly poverty for players either. I blame both sides.
Bettman is a failure. Plain and simple. All the growth that has occurred under his watch since the last lockout will be washed down the drain if there is a lockout. The players are united, the ones who actually battle each other every game. The owners are a giant unorganized cluster******. Sadly, it'll be the players who will have to capitulate, because neither the owners or buttheadman give a single flying ****** about the fans.
I sympathize with the players but, at the same time, wonder why the LA Kings lost money last year?
