Spray or 2 of Shout. Then rinse, scrub with the jersey itself, rinse, wring out, air dry.

I too have a mustard stain on mine jersey, on the lower left front, where the sizing tag is. I have left it alone.

It's a new season. The lucky stains don't carry over through the off season. My rationale is if the players wear a clean jersey at the start of every game, so can I.

Don't be the stinky kid, no one likes the stinky kid.

and don't just shove it in the dryer.

    Warm does not equal clean!

If it smells like butt cheeks and Tapatio, wash it. Ah, just wash it anyways. New season, new stains.

I voted yes. Mojo doesn't carry over to the next season. The 3rd option was a good one though.

I didn't wear my Doughty 3rd jersey at all this playoffs and it obviously worked since the prior two years didn't work when I did wear it. It hung in the family room overlooking us Kings fans the whole time.

So, the answer is you won't know until you wash or don't wash it.

Either way though, unless they win another cup, you will be held responsible on these boards for the loss. If they win the Cup again, you will have had nothing to do with it.

    Classic Catch-22.

The proper course of action is to dip it in a cup of hot water and make tea with it.
Then drink the tea for the medicinal value.

(oddly, there is not a "make tea with it" option in the poll.)
