Default To wash or not to wash My Jersey....

So at the beginning of the Playoffs last spring, I got a mustard stain on the sleeve of my Jersey during the Canucks series. I didn't think much of it, until I noticed that it was still there during game 3 of the Blues series. Being that they kept winning, I decided that it wasn't getting washed until they lost a series.

It has yet to be washed.

The question is, do I keep a good thing going by refusing to wash it now, or do I not be a scumbag and send it to the cleaners?

    Thoughts?
at the draft party a couple of years ago, and under a considerable haze, i heard Birdman yell out the following (about 4 or 5 times, i think) - "don't marry yourselves to players!" he went on to reiterate that idea more than once on the boards, and i believe it to be absolutely sage.

How big a stain? Does it smell bad? Can't you just Febreeze it or something?

If you had the right jersey it wouldn't show. That said, you must eat the jersey. That's the only option.

Superstitions are only silly if they don't work!

If you wash it and the Kings tank, we know who to blame!

Wash it after they lose 4/7 games. Then you'll know it's time.

Unless you played a few games in it, and/or your wife is threatening to leave you, there's never a need to wash a jersey.

I wore the same jersey throughout the playoffs last season.

Was wearing it as I partied at El Cholo and the Mariott the night we won.

    Wore it to the rally.

Gonna wear it to opening night for the banner.

And then I'm gonna frame that sumbitch with some pictures and the Stanley Cup Champions patch, having never washed it.

[edit] Point of clarification - I actually had washed the jersey some time prior to the playoffs many-a-time. But I haven't washed the jersey since the beginning of the playoffs.

If it doesnt smell there is no reason to wash the jersey. If it stinks to high heaven the only way to get clean at this point is to nuke the jersey from orbit, it's the only way to be sure.
