Yup...and I'm glad they did. Doughty > Stamkos.
I am hoping for only a 48-game schedule, starting January 19th. Let Kopitar have a few extra days to recover.
Very glad to have hockey back! Now, let's hope our guys come back in shape and with the same drive & desire they had in the playoffs.
*looks Doughty & Penner's direction*
Anyone want to guess the over/under for ticket prices for the 1st home game to watch the banner go up??
Cheapest seat in the house? $89
Most expensive? $500
I think they will go for lower than they would have before..200 a seat for 300s ?? It's hard to say because so many people are ticked off.
As this thread is proving, yall are coming back cash in hand. Some are still ticked (me, for example) but there are still plenty others who'll pay the price.
I think the prices will be high. Between banner raising and pent up demand over the past 4 months, people will want to be there. The mini-plan thread made me think high cost too. If most games are sold out via a patchwork of partial plans and a bunch of those people all want to be there on opening night, then the demand could be more than supply. Cheapest seats are probably going to be $150'ish.
I'm bitter as heck but also still basking in the glow of being at Game 6. I'll probably cheap out and stay home but there is a definite interest in getting on Stubhub and buying some seats.
CANNOT WAIT FOR THE GDT!!!!!
I was hoping it would open on Jan 19th at home but looks like we are on a road trip from what I hear.
I heard our first home game is the 19th at noon. National broadcast. No link it was text from my seaon seat rep.
