Because, clearly, there are no other pressing issues.

I also heard in NHL radio that the bidding for the Kings,etc. will start this Friday and AEG is looking for 8 Billion to get out of this sale.

Just locked. After threads hit 2000 posts they tend to have major issues, so we close them out before they get to that point.

So lets say a deal gets done in the next few days. Does that make Bettman expendable to the owners? $8 million a year and the owners still have to be the ones to negotiate a deal?
