Seriously, at this point, how many of you can honestly say you will be excited if a season starts in January?

I'll be excited whenever the Kings play again, though I won't buy food at the arena or any merchandise.

My interest has waned with every cancelled game.

Oh sure I'll watch when hockey finally comes back, but mostly because I can't stand 95% of whats on television between 7:30pm and 10:00pm. And with the passing of Dave Courtney I really couldn't care less if I went to another game at Staples right now.

I'm very excited to watch the very same LAK roster try to defend the Cup.
I can't wait to watch a truly good Kings team play night after night.

Well...obviously, just about anything is possible in the abstract, but I can't remember ever seeing back-to-back-to-back games in the NHL.

An 82 game season is too long anyway. Do we really need to see the Kings take on the Oilers and the Blue Jackets 8 times a year? Doesn't it get a bit repetative watching the Kings play the Coyotes 6 times?

A 48 game schedule makes nearly every single game important.

I love to see the Oilers that many times a year, the old Smythe Division rivalry reminds me of going to the Forum to watch the games with my pops.
