It's all making sense now! Fehr ate the food, let out some gas and Bettman stormed out of the room. I knew it had to be something....

Totally unrelated note I was coming back from a couple beer league games in a row and it was 12:45am. I got off the highway to get some food since i hadn't eaten since 2 in the afternoon and was starving. I see the taco bell and even though the sign says drive through open the lights are all out and I was crushed. I drive a little further and the in-n-out was still open! Did not realize they closed at 1am.
Ok now back to the regularly scheduled bitching
Wouldnt this layout mean a lot more travel for west coast teams like the kings and a lot less for east coast? I don't care who we see this year since its all jacked up. Would just like to see them win it again without all the travel miles. That much travel in a shorter time frame will wear them out by June
Will definitely miss David Courtney though. NO ONE can replace him. Almost fell bad for one that tries.
And I have been a kings fan for 26 years. I still will go to games but will buy a lot less than before. Both sides are at fault here. Both sides should be talking everyday. Go 50/50 and keep the contracts that were signed and call it the day. Players should not be allowed ti sign anywhere else while having a contract. This is one of the reasons why its not getting done. A lot of players are still getting payed. Just wrong.
I know a lit of nhl fans. There are a lot of them that are losing interest due the this 3rd lock out. Nhl can try and schmooze people back but won't be easy this time.
This can only mean the lockout will soon be over.Quote:

As for the rumor that it's a dick measuring contest between Bettman and Fehr, when did anyone think that wouldn't be the case?
They're meeting in NY, apparently. Four teams have called staff back/told them to be on stand by...
