By the way, I'm "coming back" after the lockout. I love hockey, playing and watching, way too much for a lockout to interfere with that. The NHL is the highest level of the sport, so I'll continue watching when it returns.

I know I'll be back watching the Kings as soon as they start playing. And that's tv and tickets. Just no concessions and merchandise for a couple of years. I mean really...any year could be Bob's last year of calling games and I don't want to miss him excelling at his craft.

Goalies will never be "fair game". Goal tending equipment isn't designed for body contact. They would be sitting ducks.

The Stanley Cup owners "may" give the cup to a different Canadian champion if the NHL doesn't play during an entire season. That was verified by the courts in a lawsuit during the last lockout. You could be right in that they won't do it nor seriously consider it.... but it's the Stanley Cup organization's choice, not the NHL's choice.

Not one little thing is wrong with it. I just believe that if the goalie gets out of his crease to play it, he should be willing to pay the price.
