and...I would LOVE to see the entire team come back and defend the Cup, even if it's for 1/2 a season. I mean really, when was the last time the exact same team (all the same players) came back to defend their title? This is a very special opportunity for the Kings, and for we as fans.

For sure!

I have mixed feelings about a shortened season. But the reality is, with the extra rest it afforded us and the fact that we have the exact same roster (quick training camp won't hurt, no one needs to learn new line combos or teammates), it should be less of a hindrance to the Kings than to any other team. So, bring it on I suppose!

I am, too. I firmly believe Fehr will realize that the last say is the owners', not his. No, actually I firmly believe he knows that, he just wants to get the best deal at the players' immediate expense. I'd understand that if the CBA would last 20 years...but for 8 years or so? Nope. Not worth it.

I'm not familiar with that guy, but regardless, it's hard to have hope at this point.
