Maybe I'm just cynical, but I think a lot, if not all, of the popularity gained by winning the cup is gone. I would't be surprised if Staples Center attendence scales back noticably. There were a lot of people who jumped on the bandwagon. Those people get bored easily.
I'm not sure. The kinds sold a ton of season tickets during the payoff run. I personally know at least 5 people who bought a combined 16 seats and bone of them have cancelled.
Puck daddy did an interesting article where they talked about the extremely low numbers off people who have cancelled their tickets.

Obviously, this is two of the more popular teams, but I'd imagine this is probably representative. If anything, I'd expect a drop off next season from the people who bought tickets during the cup run canceling.

When the NHL made the big proposal that was touted as a best and last proposal to salvage a full 82-game schedule, I was able to buy relatively cheap seats on Stubhub for the game that would have been the home opener. When that fell apart, I got the purchase price (including fees) fully refunded. And, as far as I know, all non-cancelled games have been available for purchase throughout the last couple months, with games being pulled down as they have been cancelled. But I haven't exactly been monitoring Stubhub on a daily basis or anything.
