That kinda sums up my feelings as well. Throw in a bit of relief too. League would have been phicked, if the whole season went down.

Apparently they agreed on a framework only, they still have to write the actual deal, and both sides need to vote on it. The way this has gone, I'm still skeptical it's really over.

It's a done deal, at this point I am guessing there was enough outside pressure (NBC and sponsors) that both sides were forced to sit down and actually hammer out something they could live with.

Will it be perfect, nope not a chance, but it will be workable for the time being and I am guessing next time around will be a bit smoother. Both sides should have learnt a lesson from this (though in truth they have short memories so who knows) but hockey will be back this month.
