There's a chance we might not ever. The identities of both the potential donor and recipient are confidential, even to each other, as is standard procedure. If the transplant is successful, I believe they can both indicate if they would like to meet each other further down the road, but some choose to always remain anonymous. I don't know much more than what Papahead and Paige from Be The Match told me, which is that the potential donor came from our shoot. I'm sure there is a lot on the potential donor's mind, so if he or she chooses to remain anonymous to us, I respect their privacy. If they're a member of the LGK family, then I just hope they know how blessed they are.

This made me tear up a bit. What awesome news.

Especially since I can't register because of the cancer. But I am in awe of those who are willing to register and be a donor.
