    Default "We" won the cup

I was reading Hammond's blog the other day and somebody asked him if he had a problem when people say things like 'we did great last night' or 'I can't believe we lost that game'. I'm referring to the use of 'we' as in the fans are part of the team.

I didn't realize that was an issue or even contested. I think we, as fans, are more a part of the team than anybody, since we've (a lot of us) been here longer then anyone in the organization, and without us, the Kings wouldn't exist.

Oh yeah, and uhh, summer sucks.

Oh, -we- did win the cup. In fact, my cheering alone brought us the Cup.

... Still waiting for my "day with the cup", I think I'm after Nolan.

We they them doesn't matter. So long as the team is filling that hole for you say it however you want. I do think that the we thing comes more from small town or even midwest identity. It's definitely not as strong culturally in southern california but believe me everywhere else in this country people are pretty overboard about it.

I don't want hockey filling any of my holes, I enjoy watching it though!

Was a very educational porn film that really showed me how hcokey sticks stand up in certain situations.

I never say "we". I do not play for the Los Angeles Kings, nor will I ever. My name is not going onto the Stanley Cup, just the names of the players on the Los Angeles Kings. Does anyone here play for the Los Angeles Kings?

I play for them. Usually it on Frozen Fury weekend. I play first on Las Vegas Blvd then get around the city if you know what I mean and the proceeds go to the Kings.
