Thread: That Weird Spot in the Ice at Staples

Seriously. What the hell is that?


It's in the slot on the end where the Kings defend twice. It's got a grey outline and is amorphous.

Is it a water spot? Did Terry Murray come back and try to paint a home plate on the ice but the Kings tried to erase it? Is it where they buried Jay Flats' soul?




People who might know, help me out 'cause it's gonna drive me and some other people I know buggy.

I noticed in the opening game a dark circle of something under the ice, in front of one of the goals. It was still there tonight, too... What is that?

It was there before the season started at MTP when I first noticed it. They probably had a super bad patch that was caused by not pulling the basketball court up enough throughout the fall and they had to go in and seriously patch it.

1. who is this Jay Flats guy? seriously! i keep hearing the name, and it sounds like one of those s***y ass country bands people like to s*** kick to.

2. that's where the team pissed into the cup after you all left the building after game 6

I was thinking what was up in the canucks end of the ice 1st & 3rd per from the left face off dot to that left point wall, kings and canucks alike were slipping and sliding all over that "Bermuda triangle" space.

It's a turbo-boost spot... like in the racing video games where you drive over the double-chevrons and you go super fast... except this works with pucks.
