    I'm not so sure getting Anthony Stewart is a positive and I wouldn't be surprised if DL said he doesn't especially want him but the Canes needed to unload some salary/cap space and he's the guy they agreed on. He's just another 27 year old failed former 1st rounder they could have signed for free off the UFA trash pile like, say, Stanislav Chistov, Benoit Pouliot, or Nik Zherdev.

    Don't get me wrong, it's a fine trade for the Kings but I don't think it's a given that DL even wanted Stewart...listening to Sutter talk about him it seems he's ambivalent about the guy.
