Default What I Wouldn't Give for some Goals...

It is really too much to ask for this team to score a few frickin' goals once in a while? I know: The system blah, blah, blah...

Yes, we have a banner and I'll always be grateful to Sutter and the team for making that happen but the painful reality is that this system is capitol "B" boring and leaves the team vulnerable to losing games due to flukes and/or bad bounces.

Are Kane, Toews, Sharp, Hossa and Keith really *that* much more prolific talents than Kopitar, Richards, Carter, Brown and Doughty? Hasn't Chicago done enough to show that you can win while playing an entertaining game?

As much as I hate to admit it that team to our south has been able to put together the best record in the league while playing *gasp* a pretty excited brand of hockey as well. Hell, even Penner--Penner for chrissakes!--has double-digit goals.

Flame away but I prefer to see a team that takes full advantage of their strengths while not being an instant cure for insomnia.

So... would you give up Quick for some goals?

The Kings have already proven they can win with anyone in net as long as the skaters actually put in some effort.

6 goals In 8 games is horrible and needs to be fixed ASAP

As frustrating as it is, this team isn't built for the regular season.

But, I agree that Chicago showed us we need someone that can bury the puck. Kane is, IMO, in a class above all those guys.

    It's the system!

    That's ****ing bull****.

A successful system would also include taking advantage of the offensive abilities of its players.

Many of the Kings players have, at other times in their careers, shown they have the ability to score a point a game.

Where does that ability go in this "system"?

Kings play like robots so predictable. Someone has to be creative and pass the puck near the goal, maybe someone will tap it in?
