what they're saying: preds edition that went well.
the best part of the preds' gdt was the drawings of their lineup. amazing. i'll post a sample but i highly recommend going over to hf and checking them all out.
pre-game:
-Line-up, with drawings as bad as our hockey team
-We are verily going to get our backsides royally whooped
-I'm saying 4-0 LA, I think the guys just want to get home and it will be more of the same.
-We're gonna get obliterated.
-Preds lose 14-9
Hal Gill scores 9 goals
-Gill has been put on IR. But I like the enthusiasm.
-Gill has those long arms. He can score from the press box.
-Sucks we suck though. Kings - 4 Preds -1
-OK. This is the kind of game that the Preds defy all odds and rise up -out of no where- and win.

This GDT 1 Preds 0
-Preds lose 6-2. Goals by Trotzy's eyebrow and Lane's lettuce. Horacek drops an f bomb during second intermission interview and Poile has to pay the FCC with money that he saved up all year to put towards a prized 3rd line grinder.
-Is it to late for the preds to forfit this game,because i predict that the kings are wipe the ice with our team
-We'll lose 4-2. If we can score twice.
first period:
-Thought we might get one there. Wilson is awake.
-Faarquad is an idiot. Really losing my patience with that buzzkill
-Just being worthless isn't enough, Fisher has to hurt our team instead.
-LOL Fisher. Gives the puck up while the goalie is pulled on the delayed penalty. Then takes a penalty during the PP
-At least they look like they have energy early on. Something they have lacked for several weeks.
-Yeah our forecheck is working well. Not unhappy overall so far
-If Wilson/Smith/etc. played like Fisher, they'd be benched in about three seconds.
-I've thought that myself. It's like whenever it's a veteran Trotzs mind has some sort of magic barrier in his brain that doesn't register that he made a ****** play.
-Clune goes to the box.
-Man they are tough on the interference calls this year.
-"grind" , "dirty", "battle".... no wonder we can't score. its in our forwards like its DNA to GRIND and win the DIRTY BATTLES
-4 shots on goal... pathetic .. on pace for 15 for the game... better than LAs 0.. wth?
-LA with 0 shots so far

-Good news is Kings didn't score. I'll take 0-0 at this point. Preds are outshooting the kings 5-3. It wasn't a bad period other than the penalties but then the kings got them too and it was more 4 on 4 then PP.
-Maybe players are tired of "paying the price" and getting the **** beat out of them just for a line change, or perimeter shot, Barry.

second period:
-Did they just say Kostitsyn shot? What??? I didn't know he knew how to do that.
-Horny's super pissed.

-Well that blows.

-Rinne kicked the puck into his own net. That's game.
-Well it started strong, but they have lost their will again. Looks like another skate and pass practice
-We were playing a good PK had a good shorthanded chance if SK would have shot the puck and then they score.

Yet another split PP. We get 1 of these every game
-I hate those. It's so hard to get those engines rolling right at the jump of a period. Really wastes half the PP.
saint carter scores his second and third:
-Game over for sure.

-2 hat tricks by Carter against Nashville in back to back seasons.
-Not impressed since it's in rookie mode.
-Consider yourselves lucky, we will all be able to say that we were here to witness an historically awful offense.

-This team is not that bad defensively, This could well be the start of the end for Trotz. The problems are more serious than a piss poor offense.

-I'm as upbeat as any Preds fan, but I can't find a single positive thing to say about this team. I'm starting to dread upcoming games instead of looking forward to them. Losing is one thing, losing with no heart and a weak effort is another, it's literally painful to watch at this point.

-Bourque is playing at least. Nice shot.

-So what the **** is happening? I leave the house for work after the 1st period and it's 0-0. I listen to part of the 2nd on the radio and check at end of 2nd period and it's only 1-0. Now it's ****ing 5-0? What the **** is happening in the 3rd period?
