He was bagging on Scrivens and LA being boring in a thread in the National Hockey League talk forum too. Ben must have peed in his cheerios yesterday or something.

Possibly my favorite ever. yeah, Scrivens is just horrible. lol. Still freaks me out to see fans of other teams giving the Kings high praise, though. ("look how fast the Kings transition") The things they are praising (not just in this thread, in many recent threads) are things we are still giving them crap about (i.e., Line 1)

-The Kings TV guys seem to be calling the game from Central Park, which is weird. They were talking about the game in front of the outdoor ice rink, went to commercial and then the puck was dropped, so they couldn't have gotten back. Is this because of the renovation? Have all visiting broadcast teams been unable to use the visitor's booth this season?
-At no time did the renovation force broadcast teams out of the building. Not sure what they are doing.
I always read this thread after every win, and this is the saddest thing I've ever read.

Once again, thank you for putting this together.

It's incredible to me - just ~50 miles apart, the Islanders and Rangers play (and a helluva lot closer coming soon). Yet light years apart in their fans' attitudes. The only ray of hope in that entire thread was no one saying that Moore's fancy footwork should've counted as a goal.

Thanks rcc! I had fun reading that one. Our extended pk was killing me but it was fun to read the other side of it.

Thanks rcc! I found myself looking at their board during the game, very entertaining.

"-I've always found that hockey games increase a lot in entertainment value when your team wins no matter what the score. If there is such a thing even an ugly win can be fun and losses even encouraging ones tend to be disappointing."

That sums it up for me. There are no ugly wins. There are only wins.

    Thanks, rcc. Awesome, as usual!

I will say that I agree with the guy who was wondering why they let Scrivens get away with coming way out of the paint to smother the puck. I've been wondering this the past several games. I'm not even seeing the officials talking to him about it.
