Don't know if you have been around there recently but it isn't the 80's/90's anymore. Yes it is not the best area, but you are not putting your life on the line.

I frequented the Forum many a night in the 90s and I am still alive lol.

Ditto...I can't tell you how many concerts I attended at the Forum starting in 1984 (Dio's "Last in Line" tour) and through the end of the 90s -- to say nothing of the post-concert visits to the Carl's Jr. on Manchester. I still say it's the best local venue in terms of sound quality.

The Forum was fun.We used to hang out in the Forum Club and drive home around there late at night.I think it would be cool to have a game there and have the Kings wear the throwback uniforms !!

The only thing I miss about the Forum is the $3.25 Large Beers.

The Forum Sounds like a crack pot idea as far as opening night. Why would they raise the banner at the Forum only to take it back down again and put it back up at the Staples Center? I guess they could have two banner raising ceremonies and make bank off of it! Hahaha!!
