Thread: When The Heck Are The Kings Actually Going to PLAY At Staples!?!?!

Muse is awesome, they put on an amazing show... seen them twice, and going again on the 23rd.

I heard from 2 good sources (one of which is my ticket rep) that the Kings home opener and banner raising will be Saturday the 19th @ 12 noon. Because of this damn lockout I schedule stuff for that entire weekend and now I don't know what to do.

Just spoke with my season ticket rep and she said season opener will be Jan 19th and it will be a day game...

Lock 'em out again! We got no room in the schedule!

Me too. It's actually my sons birthday and we already have a day planned. Looks like I'm going to have my 4 seats up for grabs :-/ Too bad my son won't sit through an entire hockey game cuz I'm sure I can give him a great birthday at Staples Center!

Here is how I think this will play out....
They won't agree that they have agreed to agree until this Friday when everything is done, schedule is announced Friday January 11th.
Then.... There will be 5 days to usher the players back to America. Camp will start the following Monday the 21st and conclude on February 1st with the first game taking place on the 4th of February.
The Kings will open the season against the Rangers in New York on the 6th and win.
The Kings will play the Devils on the 9th and lose in a shootout Ilya Kovulchuk will score and the Devils will go on to lose 18 consecutive games and miss the playoffs.
Jake Muzzin will break his left pinky toe on the 9th.
The Kings will play the Jets on the 11th and Quick will get his first goose egg. Kings fly home for a game on the 13th against the Ducks.

There it is my Ms. Cleo prediction.

All that being said I don't think we see real hockey at Staples until hockey is about ready to start. Should line up nicely.
