As for the suggestion that some games might get played at the Forum, I can't imagine what a mess that would be in terms of giving STHs roughly equivalent seats and the lack of luxury boxes. Does the forum still even have the ability to produce and maintain an NHL-quality ice sheet? Has there been any hockey at the Forum any time in the last decade-plus?

I just got off the phone with my ticket rep and he said everything is speculative at this point and no games are being played at the Forum.Also not a lot of seat inventory.Demand is still very high.

For those of you mentioning the Forum: there is no longer any ice making equipment there.

Didn't figure. If anything, I would think the Pond would be a more likely option (holding back the vomit when I say that) or the arena in Ontario.

The Kings have around 15,000 season ticket holders ..how do you move them to comparable seats ?

they wont move to a different venue, its the annual road trip time for the kings. We will get a few home games to start and be on the road til after the (oscars or grammys or both, I forget which awards show everyone has to vacate staples for in feb) in February. then a heavy home schedule to finish off the shortened year

The only reason that i think ticket reps would know about the home opener is that i bet it is already scheduled. The kings are defending champs and I bet the ceremony, if not the entire game, will be on NHL network.

He didn't want to tell me and he sounded stressed so I didn't want to press it..I had to move my seats misscomunication on seats so I wasn't going to bug him any further.
