Organ noodling!

First two songs that popped in my head were "I Love L.A." Hard to ever pick against that. And Van Halen's "Right Now" is always a safe/solid song.

Knowing Dieter, he'll probably pop in some Lady Gaga song just to piss everyone off.

I've always been fond of Hero by Foo Fighters, but they played that a lot at Luc's final game.

For better or for worse I will always associate "The Black Parade" with any kind of moment of recognition of the Stanley Cup run by the Kings.

I will second the vote for nickelback....i just cant get enough of them for my money and honored the NHL choose so well in a band that "rocks." I havent seen someone "rock" a live performance since madonna brought the house down in the last super bowl.

you know what is funny? I know I'm supposed to think this is geeky and all, but I laugh and then watch it and get all chocked up! lol

Its like when my son was in hockey and they would play the "your an allstar" (can't remember the group) and we would all think it was so dorky and at the same time we all we so proud.

So how do you pick a song? they are either too geeky and we love them anyway, or they are obscure and no one knows them, lol. For me, I'll always just pick:
