I'd go for "This Is L.A." by The Briggs. Kinda grew on me. The Kings should get the band to rewrite a verse or two to include a Stanley Cup reference.
F it. Just make it that black and purple parody song. Best song Ive ever heard about the LA Kings. Needs a rewrite though. Someone get on that. Stat !
If not that, Black Parade. Saw the intro video on youtube and got chills down my spine. (in a good way)
No music.....just Bob Miller's call of the end of the game.....and Nick's too....heck, I'll even let them play Mike Emmrick's call......But Bob and Nick's calls with the crowd noise in the background is the perfect "music" to me!!
One of the songs that was playing as they were lifting the cup, and I honestly get choked up everytime I hear it since that glorious night:
They could play country music on an accordion for all I care. It will be the most beautiful thing to happen next to the Kings winning the cup.
No music. The sound of the cheering, clapping, screaming, and crying will be louder than any music that could be pumped through any sound system.
