Since there isn't much to talk about....lets get it started. Who was the better dman?
Slaney or Snell?
I suppose if you want....add a debate for Sydor vs Zhitnik as well.

Slaney. No brainer.
Slaney had that big slapper from the point. BOOM!
Slaney at least had a bit of an NHL career, whereas Snell lasted in the NHL for less then a season. Truth be told, while I recognized the name, I had to look Snell up to figure out who he was. I was able to remember Slaney without the aid of Google.
As far as the other debate, I think Zhitnik (especially on the offensive side of things) was a better player in his time with the Kings. However I have always viewed the Kings letting Sydor go for Shane Churla was a huge mistake. I'm going to give a slight edge to Sydor on this debate.
Slaney or Snell? Who was better? I couldn't care less. All I know is that those names conjure up bad memories of the immediate post-Gretzky, post-McNall years, among the Kings worst, and they've had plenty of them. I mean no disrespect to either player, but those were dark times.
Slaney by far.
Sydor by a little.
I wish I could add more. Thanks for the thread Hipcheck! I was starting to forget about what it was like to debate about hockey.
Slaney of course, but can't we get some love for Tim Watters?
Going by the memory game I used above, I don't recall Watters (at all) however I do clearly remember Steve Finn so he wins this round. If we're going to play this game, which Vopat brother was better?
