Depends on what he's looking for. Someone who goes UFA after this season? That seems plausible as Scuderi is the only soon to be UFA in the defense right now and it's entirely likely that he'll be replaced by someone already in the organization.

The word on the twitter street today is that Lombardi has started extension talks with Scuderi.

I would be surprised if anybody offered him a ton more than he's already getting.

Living in MTL I have seen Hainsey play with the Habs and trust me you dont want him back there. Now a question I have is are Green and Mitchell and Martinez injured for the remaining of the season? Will we see them this year?

Martinez should be back soon. Greene is supposed to be back at the end of the regular season. Mitchell, no one apparently knows. He was medically cleared to play weeks ago, but hasn't even practiced with the team. Whether he'll be back this season is an open question.
