Thread: Who Else is Disappointed they Won't/Didn't Use D. Courtney's Voice?

Get over it. If us old timers could get over not having A true legend in John Ramsey doing the PA, then you should be just fine adjusting to the loss of Courtney.

They did use it. "Ladies and Gentlemen, the Stanley Cup!"

That was perfect, and classy. Dave Joseph will be fine. Now, he is the guy that was doing Frozen Fury, and backed up DC, correct? I know last season DC was there, but the previous several years was DJ, right?

Bob Miller goofed a few times in the ceremony. You're expecting a guy replacing his mentor on an emotional day like yesterday to be flawless? Come on. I couldn't even imagine the emotions Dave was feeling yesterday.

He was trained by the best. He'll be fine.

He does need some emotion in his voice BUT it far to early to bitch about it. Lets see how he fine tunes his "style"

Did I miss Courtney's death being acknowledged during the ceremony? Afterall he was a big part of Kings home games for a long time.
