Thread: So who is going to Vegas even if there is no game???

Definitely going, hotel booked, flights are arranged, time to get down.

I wanted to go last year but my wife had a rough pregnancy and I didn't want to leave her home alone so this one has been on the radar for a year.

Meeting a few buddies there and of course all of YOU!

We can still celebrate the glory that is the Stanley Cup Champion LA Kings!

I thought this might be a fun thread.

Maybe we can arrange a couple locations to gather Fri/Sat so people who come in various times have a chance to meet up?

Also, I am soliciting advice for MUST go eat/drinks/sights while there. I have a few buddies coming in from different states who rarely make it to Las Vegas so I want to at least hit a one or two good restaurants with them and find some good gambling, attractions.

Feel free to throw out suggestions for the following:

Best Steak House (or restaurant):

Best Blackjack Tables:

Best Burgers not named In N Out:

Best Pizza:

Best Mexican (Food):

Best Bars/Clubs for people watching and drinks:

Best Attraction without a white tiger or a French-Canadian singer:

Best Blackjack Tables: any with a minimum over $10

Best Burgers not named In N Out: people eat burgers in Las Vegas? wait, isn't there supposedly a real winner of a joint at Mandalay Bay or something?

Best Pizza: probably that pit stop at New York, New York

Best Mexican (Food): i don't do Mexican in Vegas, but the joint at Planet Hollywood makes a pretty killer Queso Fundido if you've got the crudo!

Best Bars/Clubs for people watching and drinks: normally, i'd say Rouge at the MGM because it's at the gateway from the casino to the Arena.

Best Attraction without a white tiger or a French-Canadian singer: what about Rhinos?

Suggestions to meet up: outside of the Hof, i know a lot of LGKers enjoy hanging at 9 Fine Irishmen

It's Burger Bar and it is pretty solid, I have eaten there twice. Not sure if there are any better?

There's better pizza inside the Luxor. Take it from me, I'm Italian and originally from NY, way picky about my pizza!

I like the seafood and sushi!! You can go berzerk on steaks, seafood and anything else without even leaving MGM Grand. That is how rad it is. Let's start with Craftsteak.
