Thread: So who is going to Vegas even if there is no game???

Two weeks form today we will either be watching a hockey game or having a blowout in Vegas with all the Kings men and women.

Or both?

How about a more affordable poker tourney for Kings fans? Not going to spend 500 bucks for a poker tourney, even though its for a good cause. Anybody want to talk to the MGM poker room and put a 50 dollar buy in for a kings fans poker tourney?

Poker room will do a 10 person sit and go whenever you want (if they have the dealers). Just get 10 people together and show up.

Not going, but suggestions in line. I'd just like to know when they officially cancel it, as I need to cancel my room and flight.

Also, I am soliciting advice for MUST go eat/drinks/sights while there. I have a few buddies coming in from different states who rarely make it to Las Vegas so I want to at least hit a one or two good restaurants with them and find some good gambling, attractions.

Feel free to throw out suggestions for the following:

Best Steak House (or restaurant):
Personal favorite and we go every near, Hugo's Cellar in old town at the Four Queen's. Older restaurant that was frequented by the Brat Pac. Excellent steaks, fantastic table side salad bar and great wine list.

Best Blackjack Tables:
The one that you are winning at. It's a crap shoot....I've seen great tables at most casinos and I've seen pretty shi**y tables as well.

Best Burgers not named In N Out:
I've not been, but have heard amazing review about Holsteins Burgers in the Cosmo. Here is a write up: Burgers and beers at Holsteins Las Vegas

Best Pizza:
can't help here

Best Mexican (Food):
same here

Best Bars/Clubs for people watching and drinks:

Best Attraction without a white tiger or a French-Canadian singer:
Not an attration, but a show, Love at the Mirage....amazing

If enough people are interested the wife can set it up at the Monte Carlo poker room.

Bouchon in the Palazzo/Venetian is great. Great for breakfast/brunch and the bakery is divine.

It's just dawned on me, assuming FF is cancelled, I can take the refund and buy a 12 game pass for the Wranglers .....Damn the minor league teams really have an opportunity here to grab a bunch of fans....
