I think I like it. I wanted Nino his draft year. Sick hands for a big guy. I can see him being a consistent 20 goal scorer once he's landed a roster spot away from the island. And let's face it, we are absolutely dry on the farm with young, skilled wings, especially with size.
I KNOW losing Mitchell would be a tremendous blow to the PK though, and would probably require us to re-sign Scuds, which I have no problem with.

Even if he absolutely hates Islanders, 1 goal, 0 assists in almost 60 games last year. Yikes. If he had some brains to go along his sick hands to go with his big body, I'm sure he'd try to showcase himself so other teams take notice of him and he raises his value so Isles are willing to trade him.
How is trading Mitchell away a blow to the PK? He's sitting on his a$$ not playing and having Quick campaigning for him to be voted at Top BC athlete of 2012. He's wothless thus far this season.Quote:
