This whole 'can't stand pat' philosophy was bandied about a year ago. Dean Lombardi was lambasted for not 'improving' the team while other teams got better. Result? Kings win Cup.

That's really going out on a limb there...the Kings will make some changes to the roster in the next couple of years. Wow...thanks for that.

Yes, the safe pick was Alzner. But I don't think I have to explain to you why that mistake doesn't matter. Right?

Are you also mad they picked up Alec Martinez (and Dwight King) in the 4th round?

Okay, so it wasn't a MAJOR trade... but considering there were only 3 or 4 trades in TWO DAYS...

It's kind of funny how every trade deadline we hear how GMs are reluctant to trade during the season and we're sure to see more action at the draft. The the draft happens and nothing... Followed by the talking heads saying trades are coming on July 1. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Now Nosoupforyou, stop posting factual info.Anyways,Dean will have to change the roster in the next few years to deal with the caps ups and downs. But some on here are a lil too trade happy.Dean has put a team together that has won two cups in three years and three WCF in a roll. If not for injuries in last years WCF, we might have 3 cups in three years. I'm sure Dean has proven he knows more than most. Let him deal with personnel decision while we celebrate the results.
