I will say that Willie is a warrior and I trust him, but I also defend Sutter. When the everyone tells the coach that he's good to go, then in the coach's mind, you are either out there or you're not. I've coached before and the players that want/can play, play. Those that can't/don't, don't. If Willie doesn't feel comfortable playing, then don't, but the truth of the matter is that there comes a point in time where he's either going to be on the ice or not, and in a shortened season that decision needs to be made soon. If Willie's not coming back along with Greene being out, then Dean needs to look for a couple of bruisers on the backend that are shot-blockers. That's the issue. Sutter's not saying anything about Willie, except he only worries about the guys who are on the ice, and that's what he can control.
Why is Mitchell taking so long in returning?. I thought he has been cleared by the team doctors.
Saw him on Friday in Venice on Abbot Kenny street, asked him how his knee was and when he will be back on the ice. He was really cool and said the knee is good and he will be back soon.... I know this doesnt mean anything but I thought I'd share.

There might be one on Abbot Kenny Street, not sure.
Though, I don't recall ever seeing one on Abbot Kinney Street.
Thanks for sharing.......... Hope he is back soon.
Kopitar quote (emphasis mine) from Mayor's Manor:
Maybe he is just generalizing but he seems to think it may be a while even for Mitchell. On missing Willie Mitchell and Matt Greene in the line-up: “It doesn’t really matter who is in the line-up. If we do the things that we’re supposed to do, it showed the last couple of games that we can shut teams down. Of course you miss guys like that. But, we’re not going to have them back anytime soon right now. So, we just gotta get it done with whoever is in this locker room.”
