Please don't sign with the Ducks, Sharks, or Hawks.

    Thanks, BOLD FLAVOR!

Thanks for being a warrior Willie and help tutoring Doughty to become the player he is. At least you got your name on the Stanley Cup twice and good luck to which ever team you sign with.

Thank you for your hard work and effort. Best of luck with whatever team you sign with. They will benefit from your leadership and play.

I haven't seen anybody mention that one option is to just ride off into the sunset after winning his second Cup. Why not retire on top and enjoy it? I know there is that drive to play and that's all these guys have done but I would kind of think that winning the Cup and having that be your last game would be one hell of a way to go out.

Mitchell was a good interview. He brought stability and gave time for our young D-men to mature. I echo those that say don't go to the quacks, shorks, or any other team in the west. Good luck!

I read somewhere that he said he still wanted to play. Sorry, don't have the quote/link. I think retirement wasn't even on his mind.

And that might still happen. He'll get to see what offers are out there and evaluate if its worth it.
That said, I've rarely seen a healthy player give up on the game before the game gave up on him.

He has about 8 million reasons not to retire.
