Thread: Your All-Time Kings Roster

Since there's not much to talk about on Hockeybuzz, Mr. Poo Slinger himself asked visitors to make their all-time greatest line-ups for their favorite teams. The roster can include all players, past and present.

I thought the Kings had one of the strongest possible teams based on the talent and grit we've had over the years. I didn't include guys like Sawchuk or Roenick because neither one really played for us that long. (I did put Coffey in the lineup though, hehe).

What's your roster, and what do you think of mine?

In Goal: Fukufji, Cechmanek

Forwards: McCauley, Makkela, Bure, Dancing Anson Carter, Roenik, Rosa, Lavoie, Shuchuk, Tukkonen, Ivanans

Defenders: Berg, Gauthier, Randy Jones, Sopel, Klemm, Petiot

Certainly not much to argue about in terms of goalies.

Maybe swap Norstrom for Wells. Maybe.

Don't forget Tardif and Craig Johnson.

This brings up an interesting conundrum: Do we included players based on how they played with the Kings, or overall. I'm going to go with the former:

Taylor Dionne Simmer (Triple Crown)
Sandstrom Gretzky Granato (best line of the Gretzky era, especially in 1991)
Palffy Allison Deadmarsh (LAPD line)
Robitaille Kopitar Brown

Doughty Mitchell
Blake Scuderi (by the way, this is based on Blake's first stint with the Kings, not the second)
Wells Hardy

Vachon (Quick over Vachon for obvious reasons)

Tukkonen, lol, some people were predicting that he was going to be the next Finnish Flash, haha, more like the Finnish Flush down the toilet. :P

And Anson had Predator like dreads because he was invisible on the ice.

But nobody's gonna bad mouth Bure on my watch. He gets to bone DJ Tanner so he wins, lol! :P
