They had to send a real body back because Kubina put them at 51 contracts.

Yeah, like Mike Smith is proving, Bryz was a product of his environment. Flyers do not have that same defense first mentality...and he has been exposed. Now they are scrambling for a plan C.

Thats an awesome quote. I wouldnt mind Ott on the team just to watch Dalls fans do a 180 on how they feel about his antics after having to face him 6 times a year.

Vincent Lecavalier of Tampa Bay Lightning sidelined indefinitely - ESPN

Tampa Bay Lightning captain Vincent Lecavalier will be sidelined indefinitely because of an undisclosed upper-body injury.

The team announced the news before Tuesday night's game against Anaheim.

Lecavalier was hurt in last Saturday night's 2-1 win over Washington, but remained in the game. He underwent tests on Monday after departing practice early.

Lecavalier has 21 goals and 46 points in 58 games this season. The center has reached the 20-goal plateau in 12 consecutive seasons.

Anyone else raise an eyebrow at this? How much of a fire sale is Tampa gonna throwdown?
