I thought this sounded weird too. He is beloved in Minny and that franchise just keeps alienating their fanbase.

I do...and it should start with them trading Semin today and Ovechkin over the summer...yes OVECHKIN. He falls into the category of "if you aren't part of the solution you're part of the problem". He's not a horrible guy to have around but being the superstar with a giant contract who the coach really has no control over is a bad situation. It's like when the Bruins traded Thornton - they became less talented but a better TEAM because of it.
