That 3rd period was about as exciting as I have seen in the playoffs thus far. Great game, was rooting for the Panthers, but great game.

Flyers-Rangers will make a great conference final, kinda like Kings-Yotes West :-)

Have to admit I was rooting for the Panthers mainly cuz of their fans not seeing anything worth seeing for 12 years. We know how that feels around these parts. Sorry, JD. I was thinking of you the whole time though.

That's ok...except for Yormark/Dineens douchiness towards Devils fans I also had a soft spot in my heart for the Cats. Especially John Madden, who is second only to Claude Lemieux as far as individual Devils in my heart. That being said, hopefully the fans will continue to show up for them like they did this season, especially in the playoffs. Make no mistake, Tallon is building a winner down there and apparently their cupboard is really full. That division is always going to be up for grabs so I don't think it will be 12 more years.

Thats' no way for a guy in charge to be acting...but yeah, at least he tried to make amends. It's funny...during the Flyers/Pens series I was telling anyone that was listening the first team the Flyers face with even 1/2 a defense is going to cause them fits. Well, time to put my money where my mouth is. Going to be interesting to see how the Flyers handle what will hopefully be a tighter/lower scoring series. I like our chances but it won't be a cakewalk by any stretch of the imagination.
