So, both Thomas and Avery get 2:00 for roughing...Where was the game misconduct and/or the Unsportsmanlike Conduct penalty Avery should have had assessed against him? This a prime example (as if we needed more) of the NHL's inability to react appropriately to this kind of BS.

After having watched the clip I say this...
That was ****ing hysterical, Avery shouldn't have gotten a penalty and Thomas should have.
I thought it was pretty funny. He really didn't even try to hurt Thomas, was just doing is usual thing of trying to get under the skin of a goalie.
A was said, if it wasn't Avery, noone would have made such a big deal out of it.
It was a pretty dumb thing to do though.
