Hypothetical situation, for those saying it's only a big deal because it's Avery, and/or only Thomas should have gotten a penalty.

Say it was Perry/Crosby/any other pain in the ass in the NHL instead of Avery and the goalie he hit was Quick instead of Thomas. No big deal because it isn't Avery - that's what you're saying? Oh and toss Quick a penalty for defending himself but not one to the douche who started it, during a TV break no less? I'm just trying to understand why anyone would wave off this kind of unnecessary pansy-ass behavior.
