Opinion: Hockey team’s promotion featuring Dora, a sombrero and maracas is a major fail

Some people are too uptight

I just read they are going to have a big mariachi/banda group playing (Not a fan of the Mexican polka but whatever) and they will honor veterans of Hispanic descent at the game. No Dora though. Thank you Nick Jr. ! Hate that cartoon.

Sounds like a fun time to me. Wish people would lighten up, go to the game and have fun.

A hockey game, a pupusa, a Dos XX, some fried plantains, a hottie from Telemundo and we have the perfect night.

So Lappy!, what time are you picking me up to get to the game ?

Edit: The money from the jersey auction go to help underprivileged kids. More reason to buy one.

My personal pics would be the Montreal striped throwbacks (pajamas), the mustard plaid Milwaukee Admirals jersey, the Florida Everblades holiday jersey, the Las Vegas Wrangler's Santa Claus jersey, and the Quad City Mallards "old west" style jersey. And I may take some heat for this, but I am NOT a fan of the old Kings uni (as a whole, not just the jersey) with the gold jersey, gold pants, and gold socks (more pajamas).

How this list could omit the "You want fries with that?" Kalamazoo Wings jersey is beyond me. Bonus points for the matching socks to complete the entire fast food ensemble. Even better-- they skated on yellow ice.
