Well it certainly sounds like your viewpoint is entirely King-centric. Personally, I like to monitor players throughout the entire league. I'm not saying that the Kings should never have traded him; just saying that perhaps that man will realize his dream of being a successful NHL player. I don't think many of us actually think that stereotypical way... perhaps just a vocal and whiny minority. Because we watched Boyle struggle and not fit with the Kings, I believe many of us are simply happy that the guy is finding some success in the NHL. Same could be said of following the careers of other guys like Sully, Moulson or Purcell.
There's is one fairly recent Kings player I felt true sadness to see go... Ian Laperriere.
