Yes kid was a bit lazy and unmotivated sometimes but doing that doesnt help either.

Both are guilty, both Boyle and the Kings.

He's now playing in New York and I hope he will succeed. I always liked him.

Brian Boyle was the prime penalty killer in college with Boston. He even played defense. He's not a defensive liability.

I think you need a vacation.

i don't want to see the guy fail, but...

Boyle is in his 3rd full season and will be 26-years old in about a month, and has so far been unable to work his way off the 4th line to the point that rookie Derek Stepan averages more minutes a night than Brian does.

the only things the Kings may be guilty of are drafting a project like Boyle in order to assemble their 'dream line' in the first place, and not dumping his ass after failing to listen to reason when he refused to turn pro when the pros said he needed to.

He was more concerned about winning a national championship and forgot why he was drafted by an NHL hockey team. Taylor should have moved him while his stock was high after his junior season at BC.

I think it's quite obvious that the Kings should trade Smyth, Kopi, Simmer, Zeus, and Poni for Boyle. They'll probably have to throw in Bernier too if you want to land an elite talent like Boyle. Do it Deano!!!
