What a joke that team is. Nonis looks so excited to be there. #Backstabber.

The Leafs are a joke. haha I guess that's not new news though.
If this is true, then he's high as a kite and should have been fired:

While I agree on the surface, that would NOT be what BB set out to do. From the get-go he laid out a plan to re-build the Leafs and he was doing just that. If the upper management didn't like they way he did things they should have dumped him last July. While I don't agree with BB's methods at all he WAS doing what he said he'd do.
BTW, on that note, if Burke was "high" for not taking that deal then clearly Bowman in Chicago must be sharing the same drugs for even offering such a stupid trade.
Having said that BB really belongs working for the league. I've never felt he was good at building teams (he got lucky in Anaheim if you ask me) but I think he has great ideas for the game...such as his contributions to the present CBA etc etc.

I watched the TSN segment with Duthie/Johnson/Dreger and Bobby Mac, and they all summed up that the "Penguin Way" (Sucking for 4 years) like the route the Oilers have gone is totally the way to go, and ensinuated that wasn't Burke's style, that he was more of a closer and not a builder, which I totally agree with.
I think the new trend in the NHL is going to be to blow it up, a la the Pens/Hawks/Kings/Oilers, and that way you create a window of opportunity where you can compete.
