This is all true but the Leafs knew what they were getting into. Going in Burke said as much. I don't agree with his style of building and thought Toronto needed to go the Kings' route but Burke was doing what he said he would do.

I think it was that Burke isn't a "corporate" type guy....NOT his team building philosophy. We'll see....if the Leafs trade for Luongo then we KNOW this wasn't a building issue. You don't trade for Luu if you are rebuilding the Kings' way....
